1. Director Park – Corner of SW Taylor and SW Park
Our departure point is in the center of downtown in Director Park, which is kitty-corner from the back of the Nordstrom store on Broadway. It is convenient to all downtown hotels, light rail and bus connections, and the downtown shopping district. It is the perfect spot to begin your Portland adventure.

2. South Park Blocks

3. Rose and Japanese Gardens & Washington Park
The Rose Garden is Portland’s postcard feature. Be sure to take a stroll through the four different gardens. In the Japanese Garden, enjoy a sense of peace, harmony, and tranquility that can come from touring the 5.5-acre garden that includes five distinctive garden styles. From this stop, you may take advantage of the Washington Park Free Shuttle to the Zoo and World Forestry Center. The Shuttle operates every 15 minutes.

4. Oregon Zoo/World Forestry Center
Home of “Packy” and the famous Elephant herd and many other themed areas. The World Forestry Discovery Museum and the Hoyt Arboretum also share this stop.

5. Hoyt Arboretum
Enjoy the more than 1,000 specimens from around the world that grow there. It’s a living laboratory encompassing 189 ridgetop acres, accessible by 12 miles of hiking trails.

8. Chinese Garden/Oregon Convention Center Via Max
The Lan Su Chinese Garden, a Portland classic, is one of the most authentic Chinese gardens to be found anywhere. An oasis in the city. This stop also serves the Convention Center, Lloyd Center, and area hotels via MAX light rail service. (Tri-Met fare additional to Convention Center/Lloyd Center.)

9. Old Town/Saturday Market
Across the street from the park is a perfect jumping-off point to Portland’s many attractions. Convenient to all major downtown hotels, light rail, bus, and the central shopping district. Nearby is Portland’s famous Saturday Market.
