Gray Line of Oregon, Gray Line of Portland, and the Waterfall Trolley are part of a private Oregon-registered company started in 2011 and managed by two individuals with over 70 years in the land tour industry. They bring the philosophy and experience of working for one of the largest cruise and tour companies in the US. They have been involved with the Gray Line brand in the Northwest and Alaska for over 40 years and are well-versed in providing quality tour experiences.
We operate full-size motorcoaches, custom-built trolleys, and specialized mid-size buses that are, in most cases, unique in the marketplace and, in some cases, designed and/or built specifically to the needs of sightseeing in the Portland area. It’s with these special vehicles that 70+ years of experience make a difference to you, the guest.
Most of our staff is seasonal, but many have worked more than five summers for the Company. We hire driver guides with a personality and the ability to drive safely and give a tour. We pride ourselves on the length of service of our seasonal staff as well as our safety record. We partner with many local tour agencies and serve our community on numerous boards promoting tourism in Oregon. Our tourism partners include renowned operators such as National Geographic/Linblad Tours, local hotels, and Travel Portland and Travel Oregon.
